I'm studying for a Ph.D. at the Center for Language Studies (CLS), Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The topic of my research is developing valid measures of pathological speech intelligibility.
Previously, I finished my Bachelor study in Communication Engineering at Hainan University in 2014 and then obtained my Master degree in the same discipline from Tianjin University, P.R. China, in 2017. My research background has broadly covered different fields such as antenna design, magnetic induction tomography, and speech technology. Before joining at the CLS, I spent around 1 year working on speech processing of dysarthria speech, at Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences (HRW), Germany. This experience introduced me into my current field of speech intelligibility measurement. I believe that developing a standard procedure of measuring speech intelligibility is necessary for automatically evaluating the quality of pathological speech.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in speech recognition and speech intelligibility measurement in pathological speech.
